What is coaching?

A coach creates a partnership with you to define your goals and take effective action. A
coach is someone who is in your corner, who helps you keep your dreams alive and
supports you with your agenda. A coach is someone who helps you get back on the
playing field of your life and supports you in playing a game worth playing and goals
worth playing for.

Coaching is not for the faint of heart. In coaching you will reconnect with the hero within
you. The one that has never let go of those hopes and dreams you have not been able to

improving relationships. The emphasis is on resolving difficulties such as depression,
anxiety, or grief, which hamper an individual’s emotional functioning. The therapist helps
the client develop healthier coping strategies.

In coaching the client pursues specific goals and produces measurable outcomes directly
connected with what has meaning. The focus is on clarity and ease in taking action
towards meaningful goals.
